Helen Margaret Mueller was born on April 12, 1937 in Perham, MN, to the parents Florian and Verna (Wonsewicz) Bucholz. She was the oldest daughter of eight children. Helen’s childhood years were spent in Perham.
Helen married Rueben Mueller on April 30, 1955 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prior Lake, MN. They were blessed with two children, Barbara and Jeff.
Helen enjoyed cooking, baking, reading the paper, watching the Minnesota Twins and viewing Polka Fest from 12-1p.m. every day. She was a collector of music figurines and loved to fish the lakes of northern Minnesota. She loved her hand held poker games and enjoyed visiting all of the casinos around Minnesota.
Helen Mueller was a caring woman who died peacefully on Friday March 9, 2012 at her home in Prior Lake at the age of 74.
Forever loved, Helen will be deeply missed by her daughter, Barbara Siemieniewski of Prior Lake and son, Jeff Mueller of Iowa; special friend, Gilbert Krohn of Prior Lake; grandchildren Jonathan (Jennifer) Siemieniewski, Justin (Devon) Siemieniewski, Dakota Mueller, Rhett Mueller; great-grandson Wyatt Siemieniewski; sisters, Rose Korby of Perham, Geraldine (David) Darsow of Plymouth; brothers, John (Millie) Bucholz of Hermantown, William Bucholz of Illinois, Gerald Bucholz of Minneapolis, Paul (Susan) Bucholz of Brooklyn Park; sister in law, Trudy Bucholz of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Rueben Mueller; parents, Florian and Verna Bucholz; brother, Leroy Bucholz; sister in law, Diane Bucholz and brother in law, James Korby.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Siemieniewski, Justin Siemieniewski, Trey Bucholz, Nick Bucholz, Mike Korby and Jesse Korby.
Visitation will be on Monda,y March 12, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake and one hour prior to the service at church. The Celebration of Life Service will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prior Lake. Pastor John P. Vaughn will officiate. Helen will be laid to rest at St. Paul’s Lutheran cemetery in Prior Lake.
