Alice M. Schlauderaff age 92 of Jordan, MN.
It was a bright spring day in New Prague on May 5, 1922 when Fred and Katherine (Schultz) Scharf celebrated the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Alice Marie. The Scharf family soon moved to Jordan where Alice spent the rest of her life. It was at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jordan that Alice was baptized, confirmed and eventually married her classmate, Roy Schlauderaff. Alice and Roy exchanged wedding vows on September 11, 1947. They were blessed with two children, Mavis and David.
At the age of 92, Alice joined her beloved Roy in heaven. Alice Marie Schlauderaff passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in Jordan.
Alice is deeply missed and forever remembered by her daughter, Mavis (John) Fedele; son, David Schlauderaff; granddaughter, Gina (Devon) Halberg; grandson, Anthony Fedele; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Bryce and Briella Halberg; other loving relatives and friends. Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Schlauderaff; brother, Allen Scharf; sisters, Ella Scharf and Gladys Dallmann.
Alice will be remembered for her kindness and love of her flowers and garden.
A Celebration of Life Service is Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 2:00pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jordan. The Rev. Jeremey Glowicki will officiate. Alice will be laid to rest next to Roy at Spirit Hill Cemetery.
Pall bearers for Alice will be her immediate family.
