On August 18, 1989, Karin Hart celebrated the birth of her daughter, Allison Marilyn Hart. Right away Karin knew that she had her work cut out for her, because it took three days of labor before Allie decided she was ready to be born. She was amazing from the start, Allie was also the most beautiful baby. She enjoyed growing up near Seattle and tagging along after her big brother, Christopher. Allie quickly learned she loved having the spotlight on her. A few years later Allie became the proud big sister to Katie. Allie didn’t see her little sister as someone to share the spotlight with, instead she saw Katie as another member of her audience. Allie loved to dress up, put on her mom’s makeup and perform shows for anyone who would watch. Whether it was dancing or singing her favorite Disney songs, Allie gave it her all. She truly had a vibrant spirit from the start.

When Allie was just a few years old, her family moved back to Minnesota. They lived with Karin’s mother, Marilyn, who helped care for the girls when Karin was working. Allie and Katie loved spending time with Grandma Marilyn and Great-Grandma Doris. They especially liked going to plays at the Children’s Theatre. Grandma Marilyn had a very special relationship with her granddaughters, and she loved them deeply. Family was very important to Karin, Allie and Katie. They loved spending time with their extended family and saw them as often as they could.

Allie attended spent the entirety of her educational career in the Edina school system, where she met the love of her life. Nick and Allie had a computer class, and they often ate lunch together during class. He’d get a Twix candy bar from the vending machine, and she’d get a Coke. They began sharing with each other, and they never stopped. Their love grew deeper every day. They were truly soulmates, and on July 24, 2011 they were married on Sapphire Beach in the US Virgin Islands.

Nick was the perfect balance for Allie. Their personalities complimented each other so well. They were both home-bodies and simply loved spending time together. It didn’t matter if they were at home watching TV or taking a weekend trip to Destin as long as they were together. When they were first married, they lived near Nick’s family in Picayune, Mississippi. Allie had a very special place in her heart for all of them.

During their time in Mississippi, Allie worked for Riser Medical Associates. She was the office manager and loved all of the wonderful people she worked with. When Nick and Allie moved back to Minnesota in 2015, she began working in Health Information Management for Mayo Health Systems.

Allie liked all of the work she did over the years, but the best job she ever had was being a mom. On August 1, 2016, Nick and Allie were blessed with a beautiful daughter. Lilly was the best thing that ever happened to Allie. Motherhood came so naturally, and Allie was the best mom. She embraced parenthood and couldn’t wait to see everything the world had in store for her little girl. Now Lilly has a very special angel in Heaven looking out for her.

Allie was a loving wife and a selfless mother. She was a beautiful woman both inside and out. Allie will always be remembered for her bright and bubbly personality and her contagious energy. She will be deeply missed by her husband and soulmate, Nick Drouilhet; daughter, Lilly Drouilhet; mother, Karin Hart; sister, Katie Hart; brother, Christopher Hart; grandma, Marilyn Reitan; other loving relatives and many dear friends. Allie is preceded in death by her grandpa, Howard Reitan and great-grandmother Doris Berglin.
