Ann was born on July 1, 1946 in Wheatland Township, MN to Frank and Anna (Flicek) Ruzicka. The youngest of four children, Ann grew up on the family farm before graduating high school in 1964 in New Prague. Throughout her life, Ann worked various jobs as a caretaker and a laborer. On April 15, 1972, she was united in marriage to Jerome “Jerry” Eischens at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, and together, they lived an interesting life for many years, eventually settling in Credit River Township, where they spent over 40 years.
Ann loved her family and friends. With Jerry, she went on car trips around the country, visiting family out east and enjoying many different destinations. Ann was fun-loving and social, playing a role as the “young, fun aunt” to her many nieces and nephews. She always got an invite to girl’s night and was practically one of the cousins.
Always generous, caring, and loving, Ann will be greatly missed by her siblings, Rosie Tuma and Fritz Ruzicka; brother-in-law, Walter Eischens; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
Ann will be reunited in heaven with her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Eischens; parents; sister, Shirley (George) Plekkenpol; and siblings-in-law, Francis Tuma and Judy Ruzicka.
