Archer Joseph Pieper

Baby Archer Joseph Pieper became an angel in Heaven on Friday, August 6, 2021.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Archie’s honor on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with a visitation from 9:00-10:45 AM, both at St. Mary of the Purification, 15850 Marystown Road, Marystown, MN. Father Tom Walker will preside. Archie will be escorted by his grandpas, Scott Krueger and Dan Pieper, and he will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s of Marystown Catholic Cemetery.

Just before Christmas of 2020, Eric and Allison (Krueger) proudly announced an amazing Christmas gift to their families—they were expecting! Eric, Allison, and big brother Theo watched the growth of their son and brother in womb. Archie received countless kisses from his brother whenever Theo snuggled against his mom’s tummy. Mom and dad had big dreams for their little guy, but on Thursday, August 5, Allison and Eric’s dreams were shattered. Archie had passed in womb, one week before his due date.

As Eric and Allison drove to the hospital, they experienced heavy rain, which was odd since it has been a dry summer. Eric and Allison knew this was a sign from Archie in Heaven. On Friday, August 6 at 12:17 pm, Archer Joseph was born. He weighed 9 pounds and 4 oz (the same weight as his dad) and 22 ¾ inches long. Eric, Allison, and Archie’s grandparents were able to hold their gift from God. Though his time on earth was brief, Archie touched many lives.

There is no footprint too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.

Forever loved and in the hearts of his parents, Eric and Allison; brother, Theodore; grandparents, Dan and Ann Pieper, Scott and Caroline Krueger; great grandparents, Leonard and Mary Lou Bixby, Sandra Krueger; aunts and uncles, Ryan (Jill) Pieper, Austin Pieper, Daniel Pieper Jr, David (Michaela) Pieper, Kelsey Pieper, Kyle Krueger; other devoted relatives and friends.

Archie is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Joseph and Marcella Pieper, Charles Krueger, and John and Martha Hamilton.
