A resident of Le Center, formerly of Prior Lake, Arliss Mae Glocke, was 88, when she passed away peacefully Friday early afternoon of August 22, 2014, at the Central Health Care Center, in Le Center, MN. She was born on June 15, 1926, in Oak Park, MN, to parents, John and Edna (Stofflet) Jensen.
The family will greet guests on Thursday, August 28, from 4-7 pm and one hour prior to the Celebration of Life Service on Friday, August 29, at 9:30 am, all at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake, MN. Life Tribute Specialist Jean Breeggemann will be leading the service. Arliss will be laid to rest next to her husband, Alfred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery following a luncheon at the Prior Lake V.F.W.
Left to honor Arliss’s life and mourn the death is her daughters, Sharon Burger, Margie Dorn, Debbie Lay; grandchildren, Vance (Amy) Burger, Kim (Pete) Swanson, Lance (Tammy) Dorn, Scott (Callie) Dorn, John Lay, Justin Lay; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Phillips; sister-in-law, Dee Jensen; other loving relatives and devoted friends
Preceded in death and there to welcome Arliss home in heaven is her husband, Alfred; parents, John and Edna; brother, Dale Jensen; and brother-in-law, Ellery Phillips.
Pall bearers for Arliss will be Mike Glocke, Mark Glocke, Lance Dorn and Scott Dorn.
