Brett Langer, age of 59, of Le Center, MN, formerly of Le Sueur, MN and Prior Lake, MN, passed peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Carriage House Senior Living, in Le Center, MN.
A funeral service will be held honoring Brett on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 11:00 AM, with a visitation from 9:00-10:45 AM, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 104 First Street West, Jordan, MN. David Andros from Sunrise Church in St. Peter, MN, will preside. Brett will be laid to rest at St. John Calvary Cemetery, in Jordan. His pallbearers will be Austin Jacques, Zach Jacques, James Holgate, Nick Homyak, Taylor Millard, Brianne Millard, Jasmine Kodl-Peters and Andy Homyak.
Brett was born on August 24, 1964, in Minneapolis, MN. He grew up in Prior Lake and graduated from Prior Lake High School in 1983. Brett was the oldest of six children in a blended family. He went on to obtain certificates in commercial and residential HVAC, as well as courses in electrical and telecommunications and a degree in Financial Accounting. Using this knowledge, Brett held many different jobs over the years.
Brett had a deep faith and love for the Lord. He lived his life with the knowledge that Brett would spend eternity with his Savior. Trusting in his faith, he battled cancer with grace for a year.
Forever missed, Brett will remain in the hearts of those who loved him the most mother, Joann Homyak (Tom Stang); sisters, Sheri (Ray) Jacques, Tari Millard (Dan Blakeborough); brothers, Andy Homyak (Terri Hardel), Jim Homyak, Mike (Lori) Homyak; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Welcoming Brett home in Heaven are his father, George Langer; stepfather, Michael Homyak; grandparents, Carl and Reola Langer, Andrew and Odelia Riesgraf; brother-in-law, Shawn Millard; sister-in-law, Melinda Homyak; stepbrother, Bobby Homyak and furry feline friend, Tabby .
