Bruce Parrish

Bruce Ronald Parrish, age 83, of Prior Lake, MN, passed away on March 19, 2025.

A memorial picnic will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM, at Bruce's home.

Bruce was born in Waseca, MN on November 17, 1941, as the youngest of six children to Charles B and Norma (Studer) Parrish. He graduated from Faribault High School and continued his education at Hamline University, where he played football from his freshman year. In 1961, Bruce joined the United States Air Force and retired in 1965 from the Air Force Reserves.

Bruce married Kay L. Barnhart on July 20, 1963, in Chetek, WI. They had three sons: Chad, Brian, and Alex. Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sharing his fishing stories.

Bruce leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Kay; sons, Chad M. (Pilar), Brian R. (Sharon), Alex C.; grandsons, Austin, Grant, Bryce; granddaughter, Sara; his beloved dog Zeus 2; siblings, Annette (Larry) Theisen, Lowell (Jeanne); other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by parents; siblings, Stanley (Marian), Donna (Robert) Imai and Duane (Patty).
