Carol Ann (Ahlbrecht) Krohn
Carol Ann (Ahlbrecht) Krohn was born August 19, 1948 to parents Bill and Dorothy (Keymes) Ahlbrecht in Minneapolis, MN. She was the oldest of seven children. At a very young age Carol and her family moved to Jordan where she eventually graduated from high school.
Carol was united in marriage to Willie Krohn on December 28, 1974 in
Watertown, SD.
Carol retired from Lake Region Manufacturing after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Chaska VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Carol enjoyed quilting, swim aerobics and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Carol was known for her kindness, her love of children and her infectious smile.
Carol passed away at the age of 63 on April 17, 2012 surrounded by her
loving family.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Willie Krohn; daughter Nancy (Chris) Long; stepsons, Bruce (Debra) and Doug (Lisa); beloved grandchildren, Michelle (Kevin), Robert (Niki), Jennifer, Mandy, Jonathan and Jackson; great grandchildren, Cedric, Nolan, Brenna, Shane and Logan; siblings, Connie, Bill (Nancy), Bob (Mark), Bruce (Gloria), Beth (Al) and Tom.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Dorothy Ahlbrecht.
Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2012 from 9:00-11:00 am with Funeral Service at 11:00 am all at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carver, MN. Vicar Jon Niebuhr will preside. Interment will be at Mount Hope cemetery with luncheon following at the Carver community center.
