Cheryl Davies

Cheryl Lea Davies, aged 78, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 21, 2024.

There will be a Private Family Service on Labor Day Weekend at the Lake Gorman Cemetery. Any Memorial Funds received will be donated to the upkeep of the cemetery.

Cheryl was born in her parent’s home in Renville County. She was raised on the farm around the Hutchinson/Cedar Mills area. She graduated from Hutchinson High School.

Cheryl met and married her husband, Vern Davies, of Shakopee, on May 16th, 1964. They first settled in Prior Lake before settling in Shakopee and built a home in the newly founded Davies Addition.

Cheryl enjoyed quilting, fishing, playing cards and trips to the casino.

In their later years. Cheryl enjoyed spending long summers at the family cabin on Lake Gorman in LeSueur County. Spending time with family and spoiling the many dogs she dog sat for others over the years.

Cheryl will remain in the hearts of her children, Todd (Doreen Ince) Davies, Jody (Tom) Cermak; grandchildren, Kala Cermak, Jake Cermak; sister, Karen Maas; and many other relatives and friends.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her infant son, Stephen; husband, Vern; and parents, Henry and Evelyn Bulau
