Cloe Spencer (Ritchie) Crabtree was taken too soon and tragically from a car accident early Saturday morning, September 24, 2016, at the young age of 18. She was a beacon of light to those who came in contact with her. Cloe had an infectious laugh, a silly personality and a beautiful heart! She loved people and loved life!
Cloe had just started college at Normandale and her goal was to become a Registered Nurse. She loved and was a wonderful cellist. Thank you to Robert Hahn at Prior Lake High School for letting Cloe show her musical gifts, while in her senior year. Cloe loved attending church at Hosanna and singing loud with her beautiful voice. Cloe loved spending time with her family and friends, and laughing until it hurt.
“I saw a beautiful figure of a swan in the clouds on the day you passed and I watched as the swan’s shape melted back into the clouds. God lets us see beauty…sometimes only for a short time. You were so beautiful inside and out. We love you baby!!!” Mom
Left to honor Cloe’s life and will forever miss her deeply is her mother, Janice and true father figure, Steven Ritchie; brother, Brady Ritchie; grandparents, Marguerite (Donald Poczerwinski) Brook, Ronald (Marlene Anderson) Rehbein, Dennis and Linda Ritchie; aunts and uncles, Laurie (Jason) Ekstrand, Eugene (Terri) Rehbein, Rhonda Neimann; cousins, Savannah, Daryl, Heather, Bailey and Shelby. She will be missed by extended family, the entire Huesman family including the “crazy uncle.” Countless others, supporters, family and friends, Angie, Neets, Gina, Jenny and Sarah. Cloe’s mother’s entire group of co-workers past and present always made her feel special. Cloe’s very best and closest friend, even though miles apart, Haley Davis. Other friends Katie, Lexi, Josh and Michael. Cloe was in a relationship with Alx Myhre, who made her laugh out loud.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, from 4-7 pm at Ballard-Sunder Funeral and Cremation 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake and one hour prior to the service at church. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, September 29 at 11 am, at Hosanna Church 9606 163rd Street West, Lakeville, MN. The service will be led by Pastor Pat Moe. Pallbearers will be Eugene Rehbein, Charlie Huesman, Chris Huesman, Michael Huesman, Carsten Amme, and James Ritchie. A luncheon will follow the service at church.
