Craig Robert Kinsel, of Shakopee, passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2024 at the age of 58. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM with a gathering time one-hour prior at Friendship Church (12800 Marystown Road) in Shakopee. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be distributed in Craig’s honor by his family.
On October 26, 1965, Craig was born to parents Robert and Erma (Oberg) Kinsel. He graduated from Willmar High School in 1984. Throughout his career, Craig held various sales positions for different companies. He was a wonderful husband and father. Craig put family and faith above all else.
Craig was a thoughtful, kind, fun and generous person who dedicated 25 years of his life to serving with the Lions Club. He volunteered for the Special Olympics and was an advocate for ALS awareness. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, playing games, and attending concerts. He loved sharing his passions for cooking and grilling with others.
He now lives in the hearts of his loving family and friends. Craig is survived by his loving wife, Renee Kinsel; children, Lukas Kinsel (Brandi Van Dinter) and Jordan Kinsel; mother of his children, Kelly Kinsel; Renee’s children, Lauren (Ryan) Meaney, Ashton (Emma) Beck; and Buppa to grandkids, Lennox and Hewitt Meaney, and Elodie Beck; sister, Lynn (Larry) Schwartz; many nieces, nephews, other living relatives, and many dear friends. Craig was greeted in Heaven by his parents and his loving Lord and Savior.
