Cynthia "Cyndi" Zierath

Cynthia “Cyndi” Zierath, of Jordan, passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 63. She was a good Christian woman and will be missed by many.

On December 26, 1961, Robert & Muriel (Boe) Deaner celebrated the birth of their daughter, Cynthia Ann Deaner. Cyndi loved growing up in Starbuck, MN.

Following high school graduation, Cyndi attended a trade school and entered the workforce. She worked in many different industries over the years, but always enjoyed her work as an executive assistant. 

On May 26, 1996, Cyndi married the love of her life, Butch Zierath. They had a small wedding at Lake Tahoe. Soon after, they settled in Jordan, MN where they spent many happy years together.

In her free time, Cyndi enjoyed fashion, cooking and listening to music. She also loved watching sports, especially football. Cyndi was also an accomplished tennis player in her prime. She could play the piano and flute and often played with Butch. Above all, Cyndi enjoyed spending time with her family and her Maltese dogs.

After a three-year illness, Cyndi passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is now in Heaven. Cyndi is survived by her husband, Melvin “Butch” Zierath; brother, David Deaner; 2 Maltese Dogs, Zoe and Lexie; other loving relatives and many dear friends.
