Dean Russell Westveer

Dean Russell Westveer passed away peacefully December 26th, 2024 surrounded by family. Dean was a caring brother, son, friend, grandson, and uncle, born July 17th, 1991 in Shakopee MN.

Dean had an old soul that was kind, thoughtful and unintentionally hilarious. A loyal friend and family member, always willing to help those in need. 

He had a wide range of interests that included music, B-rated movies, podcasts, audio books, and Magic the Gathering. His favorites moments in life were those he spent with the ones he loved and held very close to his heart. From "The Culb", to hours on the deck with family and friends, and to an all you can eat seafood buffet. 

Dean leaves behind a legacy of love, and laughter. His family and friends will forever cherish their memories created with him and hold them close. 

In honor of dean, we encourage all who knew him to remember the joy and happiness he brought to everyone's hearts, and to treasure each moment with loved ones. 

Preceeded in death by his grandfathers, Paul Westveer and Russ Krautkremer; Uncle, Jimmy Westveer; and his beloved cat, Bill.

Survived by his grandmothers, Barb Westveer and Bettie Krautkremer; his father, John (Daria and Elaina) Westveer; mother, Teri (Eric) Krautkremer Lenhart; sister, Sammi (Zack, Dominikk, Kylie and Rayne) Davis; brother, Paul (Desi) Westveer; and many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
