Diane M. Haag, 79, of Prior Lake, passed away on February 18, 2025 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center. A Christian Funeral will be held for Diane on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Fish Lake (20200 Fairlawn Ave. Prior Lake, MN) at 11am. Prior to the Christian Funeral, there will be a Time of Gathering from 9-10:45am. Reverend Dr. Brent Parrish will be presiding over services.
Diane was born on July 10, 1945 in Echo, MN to Henry and Hazel Boklep. She graduated from Belview High school in 1963. Following her graduation, Diane moved to Minneapolis and worked at the Quinn Rockland Child Department Store. During this time, Diane was married to Alan Paulsen and they added to their family with the birth of their children Michael and Jody before going their separate ways.
While working at her new job at Schaper Toy Company and Fluoroware, Diane met her future husband, Charlie. The couple were married on August 22, 1987 and started their life together with their blended family. Together, they built their own home on 10 acres of land outside of Prior Lake. Here, Diane’s love of animals was on full display. Her dogs had room to run and the birds in the area were well fed.
Diane will be greatly missed by her husband, Charlie Haag; children Jody (Kurt Casperson) Scott; stepchildren, Jared (Kelly) Haag, Corey (Csaba) Haag; step grandchildren, Brianna Haag, Ty (Greg) Borchardt; siblings, Ivan (Karen) Boklep and Kay (Sandy) Boklep; and sister in laws, Brenda Boklep, Connie McCullough, and Darlene Eddy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Hazel Boklep; son, Michael Paulsen; siblings, Jerry Boklep, Bill Boklep, Galen Boklep, and Donna Johnson.
