Gabriel “Gary” Pflipsen died November 7, 2023 in Lakeville MN.
Gabriel Pflipsen was born February 3, 1937, in Garrison ND. He graduated from Garrison High School where he played on the basketball team. He then went on to receive his radiology degree from the University of Minnesota. During this time, he studied radiology in Australia under scholarship. Gary never lost his love for Australia, and always loved to talk about his experience there.
Gary spent most of his life living in Bismarck, ND. He loved to golf, hunt, and spend time at the cabin in Garrison ND. Gary was blessed with four sons, Steve, Bob, Bill, and Brian.
Gary is survived by his sister Marilyn Ireland of Garrison ND and sons Steve (Heidi) Pflipsen of Webster, MN and Brian Pflipsen of Libby, MT, grandsons Hunter (Molly) Pflipsen of Lakeville MN and Zachary Pflipsen of Plymouth, MN. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Elizabeth and Herbert Pflipsen, brother Ron Pflipsen, and sons Bob and Bill Pflipsen.
Gary will be placed next to his boys Bob and Bill at St Mary’s of the Lakes, Detroit Lakes, MN. No funeral is planned. A special thanks to Grace Hospice for their caring and excellent care.
