Gloria Mae (Schenke) Smith, aged 89 of Garrison, MN, Formerly of Prior Lake, MN, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2023, at Aicota Health Care Center in Aitken, MN.
A visitation will be held honoring Gloria on Tuesday January 9, 2024, from 9:30-10:45 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, all at St. Michael Catholic Church, 16400 Duluth Avenue SE, Prior Lake. Livestreaming will be available at stmichael-pl.org and by clicking on the “Mass and Services” tab. Father Tom Walker will preside. Gloria will be laid to rest at St. Michael Cemetery in Prior Lake.
Gloria is survived by her five loving children, Marcia (Sid) Richardson, Monica (Derrick) Chavez, Anthony (Cherelyn) Smith, Terrence (Laurel) Smith, Julie (Allen) Jensen; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband Paul; daughter, Anita; her parents; and her sister, Bonnie (Roy) Nelson.
