Jaclyn Holicky, age 44, of Faribault, MN, sadly passed away on December 18, 2022, at the Faribault Medical Center.
Jaclyn was a daughter, life partner, and mother, and a friend to every single person she met. Jaclyn changed people for the better in the short 44 years that she had. Jaclyn spirit lives on through her family, friends, and even the plants that she has gardened. The ground that Jaclyn has walked on will forever be blessed. A quote that we should take to heart is “Life is a gift from God. Our children, family, friends, neighbors, and strangers are all gifts to be savored. Although some days may be full of hardship and sadness, each breath, heartbeat, and thought illustrates the beautiful gift of life. Keep the positive memories alive and thank God for the blessings in your past, present, and future.” Even though Jaclyn is not with us anymore, we all can see the impact that she has made on our past and we know she has shaped our futures for the better. Everyone in the world will remember how great of a mother, daughter, and friend and how much she was loved.
Jaclyn is survived by her children; Ty Cowans, Anthony Cowans, Mitchell Cowans, Jonae Brown, and Jon Brown Jr.; parents, Mark and Beverly Holicky; siblings, Dana Holicky and Dustin Holicky; and life partner Tony Cowans.
Crossing Over
Oh, please don’t feel guilty
It was just my time to go. see you are still feeling sad, And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime, And for some, it’s not so many years.
I don’t want you to keep crying, You are shedding so many tears.
I haven’t really left you
Even though it may seem so.
I have just gone to my heavenly home, And I’m closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say my name, I’m standing next to you, know you long to see me, But there’s nothing I can do.
But I’ll still send you messages
And hope you understand,
That when you time comes to “cross over”
I’ll be there to take your hand.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd. I shall
not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He ‘restores my soul.
He “leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.
