James “Jim” Frank Borowski was only 66, when he passed away unexpectedly at his Savage home on July 24, 2015.
A Front Yard Party will be held on Wednesday, August 19, at 6 pm, with a time of gathering starting at 5 pm, both at Ballard-Sunder Funeral and Cremation 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake, MN. Jean Breeggemann will lead the service. Jim’s urn bearers will be close friends, Debbie Atchison and Jeff Tuma. Full military honors will be provided at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Thursday, August 20 at 10:15, where he will be laid to rest.
On October 5, 1948 in East Chicago, Indiana, Jim was born the only child to parents James and Lillian (Porwit) Borowski. He proudly served in United States Navy, during the Vietnam War.
Jim will be remembered for being a simple man, who relished man’s best friend…the dog, especially his beloved Tawny. His kind words and gentle waves will remain close in the hearts that knew him.
