Jeffrey Todd Beck (11/14/1972 – 01/07/2025)

Jeffrey Todd Beck was born in Escanaba Michigan on November 14th, 1972, to Bruce and Linda Beck (Palmgren). Jeff attended elementary and middle school at Bark River-Harris, MI. where his passion for Basketball and Golf became a driving force in his life. Then moving to Houghton, MI. in his teen years his passion for both sports followed him, and he met so many great teammates along the way. Finally, he graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester, MN. (1991) and then attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. Following college, he moved back to MN where he started working at IBM. Jeff also worked for Omni Environmental and then for All-Star Basements, where throughout all his different professions he met some amazing people who always tried to look out for him. Jeff married Kristie Simurdiak and had twin boys Alex and Colin who completed their family. Later, they did divorce. His quick wit, passion for the Detroit Lions, love for the game of golf and always chasing that hole in one will be missed dearly. 

Jeff is survived by his children, Alex and Colin Beck, Mother of his Children, Kristie Beck (Simurdiak) and his sisters Trina Leth (Matt), Kristie Fiedler (Wade), Mother, Linda Beck, and Grandmother Lenore Palmgren. 

He was preceded in death by his father Bruce Beck.

A celebration of life will be held for Jeffrey at 3:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior from 2:00-3:00 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025, all at Hosanna Lutheran Church (2815 57th St. NW, Rochester, MN 55901).
