On Monday June 26th, 2023, Joseph Richard Hobart, passed away suddenly at the age of 1 hour and 8 minutes. He was born early on June 26th, 2023 at 20 weeks and 4 days gestation at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, MN. He was born at 7:11 am and received an emergency baptism shortly after his birth. He was held in the loving arms of his parents for the entirety of his life. At 8:19 am he died peacefully in his mother’s arms and entered the Kingdom of Heaven.
Joseph is remembered by his parents, Tanner Hobart and Nicole Hobart; grandparents, Barry Hobart, Kimberly Hobart, Anthony Tschida, and Julie Tschida; great-grandparents, Patrick Davis and Shirlee Davis; many uncles, aunts, extended family, and faith community.
Joseph is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Raphael Hobart; great-grandparents, Richard Hobart, Joanne Hobart, Joseph Tschida, Donna Leier, Orville Akerlund, and Adelaide Akerlund; great-uncles, John Schaefer and Gary Akerlund. Joseph was welcomed into Heaven by the saints and angels.
The family will honor Joseph with a Mass of the Angels on Thursday July 6th, 2023 at 9:30 am, with a brief time of visitation starting at 9am at The Church of All Saints 435 4th St NE, Minneapolis, MN. Fr. Daniel Mould, FSSP will preside over the Mass. The Rite of Christian Burial will be held after the service at St. Mary’s Cemetery 4403 Chicago Ave, Minneapolis, MN.
