Karen Christopher

Karen Ann Christopher (Tolrud), 82, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family, on August 22, 2024, in Edina, MN. Karen was born on July 25, 1942, in Minneapolis, MN, she lived a good life that was filled with her family, strong faith and a wonderful sense of humor. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving, caring and generous person. 

Karen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends, sharing stories, playing games and entertaining. She was active in her church, and she loved to cook, bake, garden, read and travel. She was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement to her family and friends. 

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Girard, her children, Dean (Sandy) Christopher and Lynn (Carlos) Rull, and her grandchildren, Nicholas and Grace Rull. 

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, 3611 N Berens Rd NW, Prior Lake. Visitation one prior to the service at Shepherd of the Lake. Arrangements by Ballard Sunder Funeral & Cremation.
