Kenneth "Kenny" Hegg

Kenneth "Kenny" John Hegg, 86, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on January 11, 2025 at St. Francis Medical Center after a long journey with Parkinson's disease. He was born on October 10, 1938 to John and Olga Hegg. 

A Funeral Service will be held at Ballard Sunder Funeral and Cremation in Shakopee (833 Marschall Rd.) on Friday, January 17 beginning at 12pm with military honors to follow. Prior to the service, there will be a time of visitation from 11-12pm. Kenny will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. 

Kenny graduated from Montgomery High School. He served in the US army and was stationed in Germany. When he returned, he worked in manufacturing for Thermo King in Bloomington, MN. Kenny enjoyed playing guitar, old time music, and fishing. He was very proud of his pick-up camper, although he disliked driving it on gravel roads. Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Hildur Noiske, Agnes Bohnsack, Edith Holicky; and brother Lennart Hegg. He is survived by his many nieces and nephews.
