Larry Nickelson, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024. A Time of Gathering will be held to honor Larry on Monday, January 22 nd , 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372.

Larry was a longtime resident of Prior Lake during his career at Control Data and then Donaldson Company. In retirement he moved from the family home to a townhome in Savage to enjoy more traveling and volunteering.
Larry is loved and will be missed by his wife, Joyce Nickelson; children, Mary, Paul, and David; grandchildren, Jake, Sam, Paige, Jillian, and Tiffany; and other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Paula Reinhardt.
