On November 24, 1946, Linda Dianne Arnold was born to Roger and Jean (Wright) Arnold in Denver, CO. She was the middle of three children. As a young girl, Linda spent countless hours learning and perfecting her ballet skills. She met the father of her children, Donald Anderson, in 1963 and they married in June 1966. Throughout her childhood, Linda wanted nothing more than to be a mother. She had three children: Dianne, Laura and David. They believe that she was the best mother anyone could ask for growing up. She eventually became grandmother to 8 grandchildren who she loved with all her heart.
Linda loved to stay active. She danced as a child. She played tennis throughout her young adult life. She loved water aerobics and playing cards with her friends. As an avid sports fan, Linda faithfully supported the Green Bay Packers and loved watching professional tennis on TV. Linda also had a strong interest in music. She loved concerts, the theater, and supporting her children as they pursued music themselves.
After the death of her second husband in 2011, Edward Horner, Linda moved into an apartment. Over time, it became apparent that she would thrive in an environment with more people her own age so she moved to Argonne Hill senior living apartments in 2017. She then recently moved to Grainwood Senior Living in Prior Lake in August 2020 where she made many friends who will miss her dearly. Linda was always so grateful for their friendship, consideration and care.
No matter where she went in life or who she was with, Linda graced everyone with a warm welcome and a smile. She will remain in the hearts of those she loved; her children, Dianne (David) Burd, Laura (Michael) Eckert, David (Elizabeth) Anderson; grandchildren, Matthew Burd, Sydney Burd, Tahra Eckert, Elise Eckert, Nadia Eckert, Gabriel Anderson, Emma Anderson, Benjamin Anderson; brother, Robert (Debra) Arnold; beloved cat Abby; other relatives and friends.
Linda is welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Edward Horner; parents and brother, Richard Arnold.
