Lorraine Fideldy
A resident of Shakopee, Lorraine passed away peacefully on Monday, October 8, 2012 at her home in Waconia Good Samaritan in Waconia, MN. She was involved in many activities and was loved by the staff. Lorraine enjoyed singing Karaoke and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of the Shakopee American Legion.
Born on August 17, 1927 in Farmington, MN, Lorraine was the daughter to Curtrick and Ethel (Hoffman) Benson. She married Arthur Fideldy on March 10, 1962 in Chaska, MN. They were blessed with a daughter, Cheri.
Forever loved, Lorraine will be deeply missed by her daughter, Cheri Johnson of Chaska; granddaughter, Colleen (Kevin) Moldenhauer of Chaska; great-grandchildren, Randy, Abigail and Mitchell Moldenhauer; sisters, Gladys Novak of Savage, Marlys Dittman of Prior Lake, Darlene Lileskov of Prior Lake; many other loving relatives and friends.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Art; son–in-law, Norman “Snuff “, parents, Curtrick and Ethel Benson; brothers, Dale and Virgil and sister, Audrey.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, October 12 from 9-11 a.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home 833 South Marschall Road, Shakopee. Lorraine will be laid to rest at Celebration of Life Service at Valley Cemetery, Shakopee, MN. Memorials preferred to the family.
