Lorraine was born on the family farm October 21, 1933 in Esmond, ND. She was the daughter of Lorenz Heilman and Elizabeth (Voeller) Heilman. Lorraine was one of 15 children; 12 daughters and 3 sons. She was a strong, hardworking, and caring woman. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to laugh, and cherished her time with family. Lorraine found enjoyment in tending to her flowers, gardening, and maintaining her yard and home.
Lorraine passed away on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022 at her home in the loving care of her family. May her memory live on forever.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Ronald Fettig, Jerry (Betty) Fettig, Rita (Rob) Kjos, Peggy Doerr, and Mark (Lisa) Fettig; Grandchildren, Casey Fettig, Dustin Fettig, Laura Larson, Dan Fettig, Laurel Kultgen, Elizabeth Wallace, Brooke Dodge, Naomi Johns, Jake Doerr, Andrea Doerr, Rheanna Doerr, Jessica Pint, and Chad Fettig; and 17 great grandchildren.
There are no goodbyes. Wherever you’ll be, you’ll be in my heart, forever and free. May your soul through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace.
