Luke Gaudette, of Savage was taken from his family, unexpectedly and far too soon at barely 24 years old on August 18, 2017. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation (833 South Marschall Road) in Shakopee on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Jean Breeggemann will lead a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM. Memorials are preferred and will be distributed by Luke’s family in his honor.
On August 10, 1993, Luke was born at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. He was a wonderful son, brother and friend to so many. He will be forever missed for his smile, his fantastic sense of humor, his laugh, his love of good food and for his insistence on coloring Easter eggs and always having an egg hunt! He loved just about all kinds of music. He thought Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin was the greatest rock singer of all time. He was also into Hip-Hip and liked going to small venue concerts. Luke was known as a tough athlete in high school. He graduated from Prior Lake High School in 2011. He was passionate about sports, especially football and hockey. Somehow along the way, he became a huge basketball fan with his brother Zach. He loved spending time at Bay Lake with family and friends. Luke really missed his two dogs.
Waiting to greet him in Heaven are his grandfathers, grandmother and his friend, Pete. Left to remember him and miss him forever are his parents, Don and Ann; his much loved brother and best friend, Zach; grandma, Marvel; aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
