Michelle “Mickey” Kluver

Michelle (Mickey) Kluver, age 65, of Jordan, formerly of Shakopee and Belle Plaine, passed away peacefully at Oak Terrace Senior Living on December 24, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Services will be held on January 7th at 11:00am at St John’s Lutheran Church; 148 S Chestnut St. in Belle Plaine, MN. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral service from 10-11am.

Mickey was born March 4, 1956 and grew up in Shakopee, MN. She attended and graduated from Shakopee High School. She later worked at Rosemount Industries as a machinist for 26 years.

She liked to travel, deep-sea fish and loved spending time at the lake. Mickey also enjoyed listening and dancing to music and had an interest in classic, collector cars. Mickey cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. Family always came first for Mickey.

She was a member of St John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine and attended when possible.

Mickey is survived by her children, Lance Kluver and Tanya Nelson Kluver of Litchfield and Shawn Kluver of Killdeer, ND; her sisters Sandy Southall & Susan Jacobs, of Canton, Ohio, Mary King of Shakopee; Brother, Bill (Jane) Marks of Shakopee; Ex-husband, Wayne Kluver; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many good friends.

Mickey is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Roiger; Stepfather, Donald Roiger; and Nephew Michael Southall.

Mickey’s family would like to thank Oak Terrace Senior Living, Dr. Nancy O’Connor and Allina Hospice for their care and compassion.
