Natalie Ann “Susie” Bartlett

Natalie Ann “Susie” Bartlett, age 68 of Eden Prairie, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 due to complications of kidney disease. A Time of Gathering will be held in her honor from 3-6 PM on Thursday, May 25, 2023, with a short service at 5:30 PM, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake. Reception to follow. Memorials are preferred to the family, who will distribute them to charitable causes in Natalie’s name.

Born in Duluth MN on February 5, 1955 to parents John and Marjorie Bartlett, Natalie grew up in the Duluth area with her brother, Mickey, and graduated from Denfeld High School in 1973. She stayed in Duluth until her late 20s before moving to the Twin Cities for work. For the past 12 years, she served as a before/after school program aide in the Robbinsdale School District. When she wasn’t busy working, Natalie loved to spend time with her family. Though she did not have children of her own, she was overjoyed to be an aunt and great-aunt. She made sure to attend every school and sport event of her niece and nephew; and was there for every special occasion of her great-niece and great-nephews! Her favorite times were spent surrounded by family; celebrating holidays, carefully crafting Easter Eggs, or just getting together to share a meal.

Natalie’s love, kindness, humor, and ever-positive nature will forever be missed by her brother, Michael “Mickey” (Char) Bartlett; niece, Kelly (Jerod) Johnson; nephew, Ryan (Tiffany) Bartlett; great niece and nephews, Linken, Declan, Bryn, and Braxon; cousins, Jean, Lisa and Devin Ferguson; other relatives and friends.

She is reunited in heaven with her parents, John and Marjorie Bartlett; and cousins, Monty and Scott Ferguson.

Natalie’s family wants to extend a special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at the University of Minnesota Hospital for their kind, fantastic care of Natalie.
