Rebecca “Becca” Dubois

Rebecca “Becca” DuBois, age 34, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018, after losing a hard-fought battle with addiction. She was a resident of Willmar, MN and formerly of Shakopee, MN.

The DuBois family will be holding private family services. Memorials are preferred to Rebecca DuBois family.

Rebecca Anne was born on April 19, 1984, in Shakopee, MN. She graduated from Shakopee High School in 2002. Becca then attended Ridgewater College, where she earned a Medical Assistance Degree, in 2005.

Becca was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Colton. She loved him with all of her heart. She loved spending as much time as possible with him cuddling, reading stories, watching movies, or just hanging out. She also had a special connection with her brother Cason. The two boys meant the word to her.

As well as being a loving and devoted mother and sister, she was also a special daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend to many. She was so full of life, very spontaneous, and cared about everyone with her generous big heart.

She had a deep love for animals; Becca was always bringing home strays. She loved training and showing her horse, Hoodwink. Becca was the first grandchild to Grandpa Al and Grandma Lorrie DuBois. She loved to play Wizard of Oz and go on scavenger hunts with her great uncle Ozzie.

Becca will always be loved and missed by mother, Rhona (Clark) Cronquist; father, Steve (Vivian) LePage; son, Colton Laugen and his father, Ryan; brothers, Carson Cronquist, Christopher LePage; grandparents, Al and Lorrie DuBois; aunts and uncles, Mitchell (Lonette) DuBois, Tony (Amy) DuBois; and many, many cousins, relatives and friends.

Proceeded in death by grandparents, Arthur and Mary DuBois, Edward and Lorraine Fonnier and special great-uncle, Gary “Ozzie” Aslakson.

“Someday, I wish upon a star. Wake up where the clouds are far behind me. Where troubles melt like lemon drops. High above the chimney tops. That’s where you’ll find me.” ~ E.Y. Harburg and Harold Arlen
