Robert Arthur Busse, age 89, of Prior Lake passed away the morning of January 8, 2014. Robert was known to all as a kind man with a strong faith. He will be remembered always by his loving children, Susan (Cliff) Roberts of Northfield, Kathleen (Brad) Thompson of Dassel, Robert (Grace) Busse of Mequon, WI; grandchildren, Catherine Roberts, Amy Rostberg, Kristen Roberts, Laura Pirkl, Sarah Thompson, Rebecca Thompson, Robert Busse, Madelyn Busse, Leah Busse; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Madilyn, Christian, Eleanor, Susan, Joseph and Samuel; other loving relatives and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Busse; parents, Fred and Katherine Busse; siblings, Norman Busse, Eileen Kabes, Fritz Busse. Pall Bearers are Catherine Roberts, Laura Pirkl, Jim Busse, Michael McFadden, Bob Mesenbrink and Jeff Mesenbrink. The Celebration of Life Service is Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Prior Lake. Rev. John Stern will preside. Robert will be laid to rest next to his beloved Rose Marie at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Prior Lake.
