Sandra Lee Hansen was born on New Years Eve 1944 to Bertha and Frank Stinson in Minneapolis. She had two brothers Ken and Frank Stinson Jr who went into the military.

Sandi is preceded in Death by first husband Berman Greene.

Sandi married Dale Hansen November 27, 1969. Sandi and Dale moved to Lydia, Minnesota and raised 5 girls.

They had horses, sheep and chickens and a huge garden. Mom learned victory gardening. She taught food preservation at the Shakopee Sioux reservation with the Scott County Extension Service. Mom once worked at a Chinese restaurant and had fun teaching them English and how to drive. She volunteered at the Shakopee Women’s Prison. Every Saturday mom and dad made 18 loaves of fresh bread and cinnamon rolls.

Mom loved to be silly and was ready for any adventure.

When mom started to lose her memory, her favorite memory was of staying with her grandma Goodwin in Mahnomen in the little cabin in the woods. Mom found Jesus through dad’s parents Mae and Gunnar Hansen. She lived her life studying the Bible, teaching her children and grandchildren to love Jesus and sneak liver into any dinner and the occasional Ka-Rat-Te chop if we got out of line.
