A resident of Prior Lake, Sonia Paulson, age 93, passed away peacefully the evening of Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, MN. She was born on Friday, October 4, 1918 in the small country of Latvia in Europe.
Forever loved, Sonia will be deeply missed by her daughter, Larisa (Butch Hunter) Johnson of Prior Lake, Victor Skripsts of Belle Plaine, Zoya Skripsts of Faribault; grandchildren, Kenneth (Tina Marie Anderson) Johnson, Leland (Tess) Johnson, Melanie (Leroy) Rabenort, Randy Johnson, Fred (Danielle) Phelps; great-grandchildren, Heather (Joe) Van Guilder, April (Chris Schneider) Sprank, Leif (Danielle) Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, Alissa Johnson, Shayla Johnson, Amber Johnson; great-great grandchildren, Charlie, Ella and Quentin Van Guilder, Allen Johnson, Marius Johnson and two more babies on the way; and many friends.
Pall bearers for Sonia will be Kenneth Johnson, Leland Johnson, Randy Johnson, Leroy Rabenort, Joe Van Guilder, Leif Johnson and Chris Schneider.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 23 from 4-7 pm, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake and one hour prior to the service at church. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, May 24 at 11 a.m., at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church 3611 North Berens Road NW, Prior Lake, MN. Pastor Mark Holman will officiate. Sonia will be laid to rest at Spring Lake Cemetery in Prior Lake, MN.
