Tammy Lee Richmond

Tammy Richmond, 53, of Stewartville, Minnesota, passed away on February 22nd, 2025, in Rochester, Minnesota.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM with Visitation time from 11:00 - 1:00 PM on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 104 1st St W, Jordan, MN with Chaplain Justin of St. Mary's Hospital officiating. Urn placement will be done at Woodlawn cemetery in Winona, MN at a later date.

Tammy was born in Shakopee, Minnesota to Leon and Romona Riesgraf on May 20th, 1971. She grew up and went to school in Chaska. She married Ben Richmond on September 7th, 1996, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and received a bachelor's degree. She moved to Western Washington in 1994 and worked as a Radiologic Technologist for the University of Washington 1996-1998, and then United General Hospital in Washington State from 1998-2020. She was a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

She moved to our home that we bought in Stewartville, Minnesota by May of 2024 to be able to receive medical care for her complex health condition at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

She enjoyed visiting Leavenworth, Washington and the ocean beaches of Washington and Oregon. Along with swimming at the Aquatic center and going skiing in the Cascades.

Tammy is survived by husband, Ben Richmond; daughters, Caileigh and Courtney Richmond; siblings, Roger and Cyndee Riesgraf; parents, Leon and Ramona Riesgraf; and grandson Rowan.

The family of Tammy Richmond wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Chaplain Justin, and caretakers at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester Minnesota.
