The amazing adventures of Tim began on January 18, 2001 in Shakopee, MN. His proud parents, Brian and Shannon (Millard-Bassette) Theis welcomed him into their arms. The fourth of five children, Tim grew up in Shakopee with his siblings Brittany, Travis and Samantha. Sadly, he had an older baby brother, Alex that was born one of God’s little angels.

Timmy was full of life! He was an individual always on the move, seeking out that next adventure or that next conversation. As a young boy, Tim had quite the imagination. He could be found digging in the backyard, in search of an amazing treasure or excavating the earth to creative some new-found playground. Tim’s mind was always spinning, creating and building something out of nothing, from scraps of materials found in and around his home. As he grew, Tim turned his attention to tinkering on engines and other bigger projects.

A deep love for the outdoors, Tim loved spending time outside with family and friends. He relished the adventures at the Bauer cabin, in Cushing, MN. Tim loved deer hunting with his dad, siblings, uncles and cousins. He enjoyed the countless adventures running the trails with the four-wheelers and snowmobiles.

As a family, they shared the passion of camping. The Theis family visited many of the Minnesota state parks and other campgrounds, but their favorite place was Camp Dells in Waterville, MN. No matter where they ended up, Tim was always in search of the highest peak to climb, a trail to take the dogs on a walk or a campfire to be tinker with. During the winter, he and his family and/or friends spent countless hours ice camping on Lake O’Dowds, fishing, snowmobiling or just having fun.

Tim had smaller adventures too. He loved riding his scooter, learning new tricks on the skateboard and riding his BMX bike. Tim dappled in sports, but what he most enjoyed was the conversations on the sidelines. Tim spent quiet moments creating masterpieces out of Legos, caring for Max (his pet Gecko) and the family dogs and cats. He too had a special love for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Yes, Tim loved adventures, but it was his personality that shined through brightly. Tim was always happy, had this contagious smile and twinkle in his eye. Tim brought such a positive energy to a classroom, a home or a setting outdoors. He was consistently joking around and making everyone laugh. Tim had a special connection with little kids, for they loved his spirited wit and energy. Tim had a unique gift of conversing with people of all ages. He always had interesting points or questions to interject into the conversation. Tim had a wonderful nurturing personality and especially enjoyed the quiet moments cuddling with his parents and siblings.

The legacy and memories of Tim will forever remain in the ones he loved the most, parents, Brian and Shannon Theis; siblings, Brittany Theis, Travis Theis, Samantha Theis; grandparents, Jim and Eileen Theis, Pete and Gwen Bassette; great-grandma, Loraine Millard; many aunts, uncles and friends.

There to welcome Tim home is his beloved older baby brother, Alex, aunt, Dawn Theis and great-grandparents.
