Tyler Scott Evans

On a snowy Monday evening of November 10, 2014, Tyler Scott Evans passed away unexpectedly in an auto accident, at the young age of 32. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, November 15, at 11 am, with visitation starting at 9 am, all at Ballard-Sunder Funeral and Cremation 4565 Pleasant Street SE, Prior Lake, MN. Pastor A. Paul Olson will preside and best friend Mike Flavin will be the urn bearer. Tyler will be laid to rest at Spring Lake Cemetery, Prior Lake, MN. Memorials are preferred to the family.

Tyler will always be in the hearts as a son, a brother, a husband and dad. On July 20, 1982, in Duluth, MN, Tyler was born to parents, Scott and Cammie (Olson) Evans. He was the older brother to sisters, Hillary and Kendall. Tyler was the husband to Kelly Kroyer. They were married on May 28, 2011, at the Church of St. Michael, in Prior Lake, MN. As a couple, Tyler and Kelly just liked hanging out together and living a simple life. He was most proud of being a devoted dad to Kaylynn and Justin. Kaylynn was daddy’s little girl and they enjoyed just spending time together. Tyler spent countless hours fishing, playing video games and baseball with Justin.

A true outdoors man, Tyler loved deer hunting up north with friends and fishing at Lake of the Woods and at the area lakes. He also enjoyed sitting around the campfires at the lake and deer camp. He enjoyed watching and cheering on the Minnesota Wild and Vikings. He also enjoyed making beef jerky and trying new recipes in the smoker. Tyler was fond of Ford Mustangs and had a special love for his black lab, Jasmine. He enjoyed working as a transmission technician for Dynotech.

Left to honor Tyler’s life and mourn the death is his wife, Kelly; children, Kaylynn and Justin; mother, Cammie (Terry) Bundy; father, Scott Evans; sisters, Hillary Evans and Kendall Evans; other loving relatives and caring friends.

Preceded in death and there to welcome Tyler home in heaven are his grandparents, Margo Overlie, Marvin and Doris Olson.
