Tyler Wrobel

Tyler Wrobel, age 25, of Farmington (formerly of Prior Lake) tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on April 22, 2025. Tyler left us far too soon, but in his short time here, he made a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation (4565 Pleasant St. SE) in Prior Lake. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:30 – 10:45 AM at NewDay Church (1201 First Street NE) in New Prague. Pastor Christopher Mark will preside, and Troy Wrobel, Gary Sorenson, Alex Wrobel, Andrew Wrobel, Luke Wrobel, Chris Barlow, Ryan Vierling, David Blank, will act as pallbearers.

Tyler Nathan Wrobel entered the world on February 28, 2000. He was a big boy weighing 9 lbs 15 oz and had an even bigger personality. Tyler was the second of five siblings and loved growing up in Prior Lake with Alex, Andrew, Elayna and Luke. From the very beginning, he was deeply attached to his mom, radiating sweetness and happiness. He was the easiest little boy—cheerful and always full of life. That same lovable personality only grew stronger with time, making him someone people were naturally drawn to. Tyler had a unique charisma and a gift for making friends wherever he went.

A true adventurer at heart, Tyler was “all boy”—busy, bold, and always up for something new. Whether riding four-wheelers, fixing up cars, or jamming to Metallica in the old Pontiac, he lived life to the fullest. Homeschooled alongside his brother Alex, the two were inseparable—working together at Target, cruising around town, and always surrounded by friends. His love for cars grew into a passion, leading him to his studies at Hennepin Tech, following in the footsteps of his dad, Troy, who had the joy of watching Tyler grow both personally and professionally while they worked together in the autobody shop at Apple Autos.

Tyler’s love story with Jenna began when he came through her lane at the grocery store. Though they connected online afterward, she remembers being smitten right away. On just their second date, Tyler asked Jenna to be his girlfriend. On September 22, 2024 he got down on one knee and proposed to her at the Apple Orchard in Jordan. Tyler and Jenna spent the most special and treasured 5+ years of their lives together. They were supposed to spend the rest of their lives together, but Jenna still considers herself the luckiest and most grateful girl in the world because Tyler was hers.

Tyler was the most beautiful and handsome man. He had a pure heart of gold. Tyler would go out of his way to help anyone and everyone. He was so full of love and life. Tyler was always down for an adventure and was the life of the party. He lit up every room he walked into. If someone wasn’t smiling or laughing enough, or if someone wasn’t singing and dancing with everyone else, Tyler would always be the first to make sure that person was okay. He loved his cars and motorcycles. Tyler loved to fish year-round. He also loved to cook, and he was an amazing chef. Almost every weekend he would be smoking some kind of meat on the Traeger. He loved to feed everyone, and he said it made him so happy to see everyone enjoying the food he cooked. He loved hosting gatherings of friends and family. He just wanted everyone to be together and have a great time. He was deeply devoted to his family, especially his siblings, and cherished the dreams he shared with Jenna. Tyler was adamant about spending time with his brothers and sister. He made sure they all spent quality time together as a group and individually. He genuinely cared about their hearts and well-being. They were truly best friends and inseparable. His future was filled with purpose, love, and ambition—always reaching, always moving forward.

Tyler had so many life goals and aspirations. He wanted to get married. He wanted to move down south and live in warmth. He wanted to own a home, of course with his dream garage, and to raise a family with Jenna. He wanted to be a father – everyone knows he would have made the absolute most amazing father in the world. He is already a wonderful uncle and cousin! Tyler is a child at heart and that made him so great and perfect with the little ones. Tyler wanted to explore and travel. There were so many places he wanted to visit and experience. Tyler didn’t want to just exist, he wanted to live an amazing life and make every moment count. Tyler brought light and laughter wherever he went. His generosity, humor, and magnetic spirit made people feel safe, seen, and loved.

Tyler’s legacy is one of connection, kindness, and courage. He was the kind of person who made you feel at home—whose presence created joy and comfort. He will be missed beyond words but remembered with love in every song, every engine’s roar, every shared meal, and every moment of unguarded laughter.

Tyler now lives in the hearts of his loving family. Tyler is survived by his fiancé, Jenna Malenke-Marshall; parents, Troy (Kim Justice) Wrobel & Shannon (Chris) Johnsrud; siblings, Alex (Wendy) Wrobel, Andrew (Kailey Miller) Wrobel, Elayna Wrobel, Luke Wrobel; nephews, Owen & Ezra; grandparents, Linda & Ron Rizzo, Gary & Linda Sorenson, Kurt & Loretta Wrobel and Connie Wrobel; great-grandma, Genevieve Wrobel; other loving relatives and many dear friends. Tyler was greeted in Heaven by his great-grandparents.
