Zachary Thomas West
Zachary Thomas West, age 12 entered eternal rest in heaven on May 11, 2013. Our super hero. He filled our life with smiles, laughter, and unconditional love. In his 12 years he inspired us to live better, to love more and to laugh often. The moment you met him you loved him, the moment you knew about him you loved him, the moment he shared a smile with you, you loved him more.
Zach was born on August 25, 2000 to Rachele LaCount and Michael West in Edina, Minnesota. He was a 6th grade student at Jordan Middle School. Zach passed away from INAD on Saturday morning at his home in Jordan, surrounded by family members.
Special thanks to Zach’s caregivers: Janae, Kami, Spencer, Hailey, Nicole-1, Nicole-2, Mariah, and the Ridgeview Hospice team.
Zach is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom West.
Zach will be forever missed and truly loved by: mother, Rachele and Marc Chrismer, Jordan; father, Mike West, Golden Valley; best sister in the whole wide world, Sydney; brother, Carson Chrismer; grandparents, Donna and Terry Mattson, Lakeville, Jean and Chuck Peterson, Georgetown, Texas, Randy and Bonnie LaCount, Houston, Texas, Tom and Bernie Chrismer, Coon Rapids, and numerous relatives and friends
Pallbearers for Zach’s Mass of Christian Burial will be: Dan Gill, Jim Wehmann, Dan LaCount, Jon LaCount, Terry Mattson, and Tom Chrismer.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 3-8 PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 104 West First Street, Jordan and one hour prior to Mass at church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Father Terry Rassmussen will officiate. Zach will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, Jordan, Minnesota.
Memorials are preferred and will be distributed in Zach’s memory by the family.
